As a granddaughter of a Holocaust survivor I want to share with you some of the values I received from my grandfather.
When a person loses all his possessions, his family, all his friends, his world fell apart, and for 5 years he also lost his freedom and the right to life, and then he gets a family, live in a free country which has great value to human life and human dignity, such a person can really appreciate what is most important.
My grandfather understood that property and money is something that comes and goes, but not family. So family was the most precious thing in life! He donated money and helped everyone and he was a working man preoccupied in giving with love, supported the family as much as he could, because that's what is most important!!
